Let These Resources for Affiliate Marketer’s Pay Their Own Way

Whether you are an experienced affiliate marketer or are entirely new to affiliate marketing, anything that will increase your traffic and income is good.  I recommend two resources that will meet those objectives, and, if used properly, they should do far more than cover your costs for them.

Matt Callen’s My Article Network is a membership service with the primary function of distributing articles directly to niche websites and blogs.  From the member network of more than 10,000 sites, you may set a limit on how many of your uniquely spun articles are distributed.  It is an remarkably useful tool for those of us who use article marketing extensively.

The new version of Affiliate Classroom, the well respected educational resource developed by Anik Singal for affiliate marketers looking to learn to take their business to new levels has been revamped and will soon be released anew.  Members of the previous version reported increases in their business ranging from 11% to 40%.  I don’t know about you, but even at the low end, I’d be happy to increase my income by eleven percent any day!  Perhaps even more impressive, three quarters of those version one members said that they needed no other affiliate marketing resources.  Imagine all the money saved on purchases of far less useful ebooks and other resources.

Extra good news for affiliate marketers is that both programs have an affiliate program.  I neither instance can you use your own affiliate link for your own purchase of the product.  Indeed, in the case of the article distribution service, you must become a member before you qualify for the affiliate program.  Both offer two tier systems, encouraging all of us to seek high quality traffic of affiliate marketers who will also be good spokespeople for the membership products.  And the fact that buyers will not be able to substitute their own links for that of our own links makes these affiliate programs especially attractive.

I have previously published overview of My Article Network, elsewhere.  In this article, I simply want to report on a technique that I have employed to make sure that my membership costs are completely covered directly by the benefits derived from the system.

I recently wrote one article in which I reviewed two products.  Most of my articles are written to obtain better SEO and to directly send traffic to my own websites.  However, for this one article, I included only direct affiliate links to the vendors’ sites.  The articles in the system are trickled to the various websites up to the limit that I chose.  At this point, that article is just one third of the way through its publication cycle.  Already, that one article has more than paid for my membership.  Once all the versions of my article are published, they will stay on those site for a very long time generating additional traffic for my affiliate links.  I have no idea how much more that article will eventually earn for me, but I know that whatever it earns from here on out is pure profit.

Both of these memberships will help me build my business for a long time, but the best news for me is that I can make them pay for themselves.

What Affiliate Marketers Must Know

All online business thrives on information.  Of course, that information must be accurate and relevant for it to be of any use to the enterprise.  Only under those conditions does that information become part of the knowledge base that is crucial to the viability of the business.

This key concept is as true in the affiliate marketing industry as in any.  Particularly important to affiliate marketers are accurate and up to date guidance on niche selection, keyword research, traffic source and copywriting.  For a beginning affiliate marketer the learning curve is extremely steep, but even the most successful affiliate businesses must continually learn in order to keep up with the fast changing world of electronic communication.

Although it is possible to find a number of online sites that give supposedly expert advice, offer all kinds of supposed secrets and sell solutions that are described as absolutely necessary, sometimes it is difficult to separate the hype from the genuine.  Many affiliate marketers have found a path to greater success provided by Anik Singal’s Affiliate Classroom.  Parts of that widely respected and frequently recognized source became somewhat outdated.  However, the good news is that Singal and his staff have spent the past two years totally revamping their system and turning it into something very similar to an online university for affiliate marketers.  The magnificent result is scheduled to be released in early to mid August, but they are accepting people onto their information and contact list now.I urge you to get on that list quickly for Singal’s updates.  If you do not make it in time, be sure to see if there is still room on the waiting list.

Anik Singal was recognized as one of the four “Young Entrepreneurs” in 2008 by Business Week Magazine in recognition of his tremendous success with his affiliate marketing company and his renowned ability to teach others about this tricky, but rewarding, business.  That is a truly remarkable honor.

Affiliate Classroom 2 gives you the whole picture–all of the context–of affiliate marketing.  Defining, refining or even expanding your niche is covered in all the necessary detail for a beginner or for an experienced marketer.  If your keyword research skills aren’t as sharp as they should be in order to maximize your search engine optimization or to use pay per click advertising in the most cost effective way possible, you will find the expert help you need from Singal and his team.  Do you want to learn more about new ways of finding inexpensive or free traffic? Affiliate Classroom 2 will come to your rescue.

You really owe it to yourself to get more information by signing up for the no-obligation list.

Singal also does a favor for all affiliate marketers by not allowing anyone to use their own affiliate link to purchase the program for themselves.

Zero Dollars Buys Superb Information

I’ve learned a heck of a lot about online marketing without any cost.  One of the most important things that I can do now, that I didn’t know how to do when I was starting is to locate useful, accurate information without any cost.  I used to be like most newcomers to Internet marketing who don’t even know how to find a free course about how to start an Internet business.

As I’ve transitioned my business from primarily retail to earning the bulk of my income from affiliate marketing, I’ve discovered how much I spent in those early months and years on products that turned out to be worth very little, when there is a great deal of free information concerning how to start affiliate marketing without any cost at all.  And that free information is much more valuable than almost any of the magic bullet product I bought.

I was reminded of all of that this morning.  I received an email from Anik Singal, one of my own gurus.  Singal is about to release his flagship, college level, newly overhauled affiliate learning resource, Affiliate Classroom 2.  This morning he released a new report that exemplifies how the best will often share what they know, and all you have to do is ask for it.

This free report for affiliate marketers is crunched into a mere 55 pages, however, even for someone as experienced as I am, these tips are valuable reminders.  I’m going to share a few of the details of the report, even though I’m not sure that I’m supposed to.

After some preliminary background information, Singal uses a case study approach.  He tears apart three typical affiliate marketing websites: an opt-in, a blog and a review site.  Unfortunately these sites all shared a common problem–common to them and common to a lot of affiliate businesses–they weren’t making as much money as they should be.

In the report, Singal breaks apart each of the sites for the owners (and for us) and makes specific, actionable recommendations for turning them into money machines–okay, not million dollar a month money machines but at least profitable business websites.  Despite my years of experience and my relative success as an affiliate marketer, I found a lot of his recommendations could be applied to some of my own sites.  And, as soon as I’m finished writing this, I’m off to change a few things about my own already profitable sites.

In case you don’t know who Anik Singal is, you definitely should.  He was recently named one of Business Week Magazine’s four “young entrepreneurs of 2008.”

By the way, I’m not sure how long he’ll leave this report online.  I suspect that once the soon to launch Affiliate Classroom 2 sells out, he will take down the report.  If he does, I’ll share a few of his insights in a later article.

Affiliate Marketing Tools Can Pay For Themselves

Whether you have been a successful affiliate marketer for a long time or entirely new to affiliate marketing, anything that will increase your traffic and income is good.  I recommend two resources that will accomplish those goals, and, if used correctly, they should do far more than cover your costs for them.

Matt Callen’s MyArticleNetwork is an article syndicate membership service that distributes your niche articles directly to related blogs which are hungry for content.  Within reason, you can determine a limit to the number of versions of a spun article that you would like distributed.

The Affiliate Classroom 2, Anik Singal’s flagship affiliate learning resource, is ready to take on new members who want a university quality education in our field.

That is exceptionally good news, as it does not drain any profits from your own affiliate promotions of those products.  In addition, both have two tier affiliate programs as an added incentive to drive the highest quality traffic to those sites.

I’ve written an overview of My Article Network, elsewhere.  Here I want to share with you one of the techniques that I employ to make sure that my small membership fee doesn’t have to be covered from other revenue sources.

Both of these memberships will help me build my business for a long time, but the best news for me is that I can make them pay their own way.
